First Weekend

Friday night started our first weekend out here. We went out to eat and when i got out of the car and looked behind the restaurant, this was the view i saw......

 I was impressed! normally when i go to red lobster back at home i don't see a view like this!

 Anywho, we came back home and chilled and hit the hay pretty early cause we were all pooped! We woke up this morning and headed out to see some sights. Jed took us close to where he has been working to see an incredible view of some more awesome mountains. There was a place to stop out beside the road to look off  so we pulled off for a photo opp.. 

It was amazing! you could see for miles. As we were driving i couldn't help but think "lord you made all this!" I have been blessed to come across the country to see more of Gods beautiful creations. After our roadside stop we drove on post to the white sands monument to let tay see the rocketships! Afterwards we headed back close to where we are staying to get some grub because its lunchtime to our bama time bellies but it was only 10:00 here so we had to bum around a little until 11:00. Jed's friend suggested that we eat at a place called Farley's. If any of you are ever out this way you should give it a try. we had the green chile wontons as an appetizer and they were awesome. I wish i had some more right now! I could probably eat all eight of them . I had the quesadillas and jed had wings both were really good.  Here's the rest of our photos from today!
